Random Fact: The "Graham Cracker" is named for American Sylvester Graham who invented the cracker in 1829 as a part of his belief that a bland diet can curb human passion. John Harvey Kellogg of Corn Flakes fame had a similar set of beliefs.
Another of the long lasting effects of this period of dietary and health philosophy is the modern practice of taking frequent baths.
